The Runaway Car and Kindsville book

Dear all,

Last Friday, the children brought home a book titled "The Runaway Car". Through the story, students learnt how they can stay safe, and protect themselves if they encounter an emergency situation. The key message is that there are many people working together to keep us safe. The storybook also includes a section on how parents can prepare their children to be vigilant and resilient.

Today, the pupils are bringing home a Kindness Booklet with activities to be done at home as well.
There is also an online quiz for P4 pupils to participate in:
1) Watch the following Youtube video: “Paying It Forward” https://youtu.be/nwAYpLVyeFU
2) The pupils shall answer several simple quiz questions with regards to the video and share their opinion about how one can show kindness to others.
3) The Online Quiz will be conducted on the CCE Blog. Pupils are to complete the Online Quiz at home. The direct link to the quiz is found here: http://2014edpcce.blogspot.sg/2018/05/2018-edp-kindness-week-p4-online-quiz.html
4) The pupils may use their Mother Tongue languages or English Language to input their responses.
5) The Online Quiz shall be available from Term 2 Week 9 and will close by the end of Week 10.
6) The first ten (10) pupils from each class to submit and have answered correctly shall be awarded gift tokens.

We have also arranged our EDP Cares Flag day on 24 May (Thursday) from 9.30am to 1.45pm to end our school term on a kind note!
