Dear all,

There will be Maths Test 1 next week on Thursday, 8 Feb. Topics to be tested:

- Chapter 1
- Chapter 2
- Heuristic Step Model

I will return the above materials to the pupils for revision by this week, once they have cleared all corrections.

Science spelling list given out today

The pupils brought home the Science spelling list for Systems. It contains 20 words.
Words 1-10 will be tested on Term 1 Week 4 (25 Jan)
Words 11-20 will be tested on Term 1 Week 5 (1 Feb)

There will be more spelling words coming up for Cycles. I will inform about them in due time.

Class Dojo and Class Blog usage

Dear parents,

Happy new year 2018! I would like to welcome the parents of the 3 new students who joined our class this year. To the rest, welcome back. :)

As per last year, the Class Dojo platform will be used for sending personal messages between parents and myself. Feel free to message me there if you have any queries or wish to inform me about anything. If your child is absent from school, you can send me a message without having to call the school office to inform them. Any absence will still need to be followed-up with an MC or letter once the child comes back to school.

The Class Blog will be more for updating about homework assigned to pupils so that parents can help follow up about it at home. It is also for uploading photos of the students and informing about any school events or reminders. If you subscribe to the class blog by keying in your email address, you will be notified by email between 3-5pm on the same day about the post, if the post was put up before 3pm on that day. For those who had subscribed to the 3 Compassion 2017 blog, you will need to re-subscribe to this new blog. Please bear with the verification process when subscribing.

Buddy Leaders programme

Hi all,

The 4 Compassion pupils helped the P1 Compassion pupils during recess time over the past 3 days to acclimatise them to the school environment. We sincerely hope the P1 pupils have benefited from the help given to them. The P4 Compassion class pupils certainly showed the school values of Compassion and Responsibility by taking care of the P1s so well.

Welcome to P4 Compassion 2018!

Hi all,

Welcome back to school! I will continue to be the form teacher for this class!
It's a brand new year and I hope we are all ready and recharged to start the school year well. I have given out a letter to parents and the new timetable today. The pupils will also be bringing home the first letter from the Principal for 2018 and the new Pupil Handbook today.
