Dear all,

The pupils are bringing home their Maths workbook today. It only contains some reviews and revisions that have not been done yet. I have left those reviews and revisions optional for the pupils to do. The pupils can do it on their own as part of their revisions for exams. If they would like me to mark them, they can hand them in to me on Monday.

EDP Fame

Hi all,

I only managed to take very few photographs of our pupils performing at EDP Fame this year. There were more pupils who performed but I couldn't manage to take their photos. Well done to those who have been brave enough to perform in front of their schoolmates during EDP Fame!

Learning about Aquaponics

Hi all,

Here are photos of the pupils trying to plant their group's seedlings into the school's Aquaponic system as well as planting seeds into their own pots in class, which they brought home afterwards to grow.

Learning about Fractions

Hi all,

Here are some photos of pupils learning about Fractions using Fraction discs.

Learning about Area

Hi all,

Here are some photos of pupils learning about Area in Maths lesson.

Maths iPad games

Hi all,

Please bear with me while I share a few photos of the class. I have been keeping them in my phone but didn't have the chance to upload them earlier.

These were taken of the pupils trying out Maths games on the iPads as part of our Quick Questions routine at the start of Maths lessons.

Plant systems experiment

Hi all,

For the Science topic on Plant systems, we put a celery plant in a beaker of coloured water and left it for 24 hours. This is what we saw the next day. The water in the beaker had reduced by 10ml. Observe the leaves of the plant. From the veins on the leaves, you can clearly see that the red colouring has been transported up the stem to the leaves. This experiment demonstrates that the stem helps to carry water and mineral salts to all parts of the plant.
